Season 9 of Summer House is right around the corner, and there’s fresh meat coming to the Hamptons. New cast members Lexi Wood and Imrul Hassan are joining the cast, and Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula just teased a little bit about what we can expect from them. It sounds like there might have been some shaky introductions.
Get ready to see an “interesting dynamic” on Summer House Season 9
In Season 8, West Wilson and Jesse Solomon seamlessly blended into the cast without much trouble. Based on what Ciara teased, it doesn’t sound like Lexi and Imrul had the same experience. In an interview with OK! Magazine, she shared a glimpse into what to expect.
“It was definitely an interesting dynamic. Sometimes I just feel like maybe we’re so used to certain people and getting a new boy into the mix is a little different. There were moments everyone was like, ‘Wait, are we all thinking the same thing?’” Ciara teased.
She continued, “Overall, I feel we never have issues with the girls. It’s almost always the boys.”
So, who exactly are these newbies? Imrul is a motorcycle-riding real estate broker who describes himself as a “full-time party boy.” Lexi is a model with a history of dating Hollywood nepo babies. On paper, it seems like they should fit in just fine.
Amanda and Ciara theorized that Season 8’s newbies had an easier time because they came onto the show together. The fact that Ciara and West quickly started falling for each other probably also helped. This year, however, it doesn’t sound like Ciara’s getting any action. She’s not going down that same road again.
“There were [love connections],” Ciara teased. “I was not involved.”
Meanwhile, Season 9 also has a pregnant roommate, exes, and a married couple all under one roof. It’s a lot to contend with, but Amanda said the newbies “added a lot to the summer.” Ultimately, the audience will be the judge of that.
