The Real Housewives of New York Season 15 reunion will continue soon, and Brynn Whitfield is in the hot seat. Season 15 has been a little rough for Bravo, but the network could still stick the landing.
Reception to Season 15 was so troubled that it would appear Bravo is looking for some newbies ahead of Season 16. Whether she caused the decline or whether she was a victim of it, Brynn had a lot of focus this season, especially toward the finale. On January 30, Bravo released a preview for part 2.
When the cast took a break for commercial, Jenna Lyons found Brynn in her dressing room crying. Brynn said, “I feel dead inside, ya know?” She confessed she felt scared to talk to Ubah Hassan. “Like I’m just scared of everyone now. I’ve been scared of everyone.” So, what happened beforehand?

The clip began with the cast arguing over Brynn’s comments about Jessel Taank’s marriage. Brynn said she merely thought she was making “a cute joke,” but her castmates slammed her. If that was true, she should’ve known better. No wonder Jessel called her friendship with Brynn “broken.”
Andy Cohen then moved along to the moment Brynn referred to Ubah as “an angry Black woman.” Both Brynn and Ubah started tearing up as the former tried to apologize. Then Brynn began putting words in Ubah’s mouth. Luckily, Erin Lichy had Ubah’s back as to what she really said. Andy asked, “Why insinuate to Ubah that Oliver may not want to be with her if she acts a certain way?”
Brynn tried to change her words around, insisting that she only tried to tell Ubah that she wanted “everything” for her. Andy then asked about Brynn’s response to the backlash. “It was hurtful,” she said. “I’m biracial. I identify as a Black woman. It was really hard to read that and to see that because I know my intention. But I said something wrong.” Ubah nodded.
The Real Housewives of New York Season 15 reunion concludes on Tuesday, February 4, at 9/8c on Bravo.
