Chanel Ayan made the silliest comments and observations as a Faithful player on The Traitors. On Real Housewives of Dubai, Chanel was the same way. Everything is over the top and messy with this icon, but when she saw what one of her fellow Traitors looked like in his prime, Chanel turned into all of us, saying, Hot dayum Boston Rob Mariano.
Post-filming, Chanel learned what the Survivor series is all about. Also, she now understands why Rob was (and still is) such a highly touted player.

House of Bravo originally posted a reel of a young Rob on Survivor. In the comments, they wrote, “Thank god TikTok still exists[,] so we have edits like this. HOT DAMN[,] BOSTON ROB.” But then Chanel chimed in, and Comments By Bravo saw.
This second account then reshared the original post, placing her comment on the top for all to see. In her response, Chanel penned, “Damn boy, this rrrrrrobbbbbbbb. Wow[,] wow[,] wow[.] Ok. [I] am ok. [W]e can all be survivors.”
As she shared on the Gabbing With Gib podcast, Chanel was surprised to learn about the Survivor series, which she had never heard of before.
“I only knew people from the Bravo world. I didn’t know the other people because they were all like, ‘I am a Survivor [alum].'” Ridiculously, Chanel thought this was only a term given to certain players who “survived things,” as she did in her life.
Chanel has survived “Female genital mutilation[,] malaria, typhoid, ebola, and a drought. Like everything. So I was like, ‘What have you survived?’” Chanel explained. “Then Derrick [Levasseur] is like, ‘I lost 40 pounds.’”
Derrick starred on Big Brother. So bless your heart, Chanel.
After her murder, Chanel left the castle, where she finally learned about this television series. Reality television is not a thing they watch in Dubai, she added, likely sadly acknowledging on the inside that RHODubai has gone on an indefinite pause.
