No one knows what the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey looks like. After a divisive and difficult Season 14, Bravo put the show on pause. There are rumors that there will be either a cast shake-up or a full reboot of the series. However, the “OG” of RHONJ, Teresa Giudice, isn’t worried about returning to the show. Puh-lease!
Teresa Giudice calls Season 14 of RHONJ “very toxic”
While Andy Cohen has cautioned RHONJ fans that it will be a year before we hear any details. Well, Teresa isn’t letting this long timeline drag her down. Instead, she is embracing it.
Recently, Teresa was a guest on PIX11’s New York Living. When asked if any of the drama from the vicious Season 14 finale had been settled, her answer wasn’t a surprise. “No, not resolved, but it’s good to take a break. It’s good,” Teresa said. “It was very toxic.”
As for any hope of a reconciliation with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga? “No that’s a permanent break. All the way,” she explained. “The first and second season wasn’t bad. It was after that, that’s when my family came on and then that’s when, [I’m like], ‘I didn’t sign up for this.’”
Teresa continued, “I feel bad for my husband [Luis Ruelas] because he was just thrown into that, and he didn’t want no part of that. Now, it’s been a while now since the craziness and the toxicity, so it’s all good now,” she added. I feel bad that whenever I think of Luis, I think of him wearing Nonno’s pajamas.
So, what has Teresa been doing while the show has been on pause? “Just, you know, concentrating on my family. I have 4 beautiful daughters, as you guys know,” Teresa stated. “I have an amazing husband and two wonderful stepsons and four dogs. So, I have a busy household, revolving door.”

Teresa has also been working on some business ventures. She has a new lipstick line, Teresa x Christian Audette. “We’re looking to open up a restaurant, and I want to get the whole family involved. So, it’s exciting,” Teresa shared. “I have a successful podcast, Turning the Tables, so I have a lot going on.”
Of course, Teresa is confident that she will be asked back for Season 15 of RHONJ. “I don’t think America’s done with me yet, I feel like they want to see more of me. I’m hoping they get rid of some people and keep some of us on,” Teresa previously stated.
Well, time will tell whether Teresa is right about fans wanting her back on RHONJ.
