The real estate star recently shared exactly what happened for the network to pull the plug on his beloved real estate show. According to him, it all comes back to Jenni Pulos.
Bravo execs didn’t have faith in Flipping Out Season 12
Jeff recently sat down with Vicki Gunvalson on her show, My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast. You know those two love to talk about their long and complicated relationships with Bravo, so Jeff started reflecting on how they didn’t renew his contract after 11 seasons of Flipping Out.
“I don’t want to pretend like, ‘Oh, I decided to spend more time with my family.’ No, they didn’t renew my contract,” he explained.
The decision didn’t just come out of nowhere. According to Jeff, it was a direct result of his feud with Jenni. The network didn’t think that he could carry the show without her.
Jeff explained, “It wasn’t that there was low ratings or people lost interest. It was the Bravo executives that thought the show couldn’t go on without [Jenni].”
Obviously, Jeff didn’t agree with that and felt like the Bravo executives didn’t understand how much he was doing to make the show work. He knows Jenni helped build the show, but he was the one keeping it going.
“I always made sure I was really busy,” Jeff explained. “I had a lot of clients.”
He continued, “I had a lot of projects. I was staffed up. All of this was at my expense and Jenni was a great employee and she was my co-star.”
Although Jeff didn’t agree with his initial exit from Bravo, he’s hoping to get a second chance and finally prove that he can carry a show without Jenni. He pitched a Flipping Out reboot to the network, and it is currently in development.
