Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was a toxic mess. Both Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice refused to interact with each other. That is until the off-the-rails season finale at Rails Steakhouse. After this divisive get-together, the reunion was canceled and the show was paused. However, as a die-hard RHONJ fan, I can’t help wondering what the future will bring. And according to Melissa, the cast may have answers sooner than expected.
Melissa Gorga says that she has “some good [intel]” about RHONJ
Let’s not forget that Andy Cohen has also given a vastly different timeline. “You’re not gonna get it for, like, a year, so everyone stop asking,” he stated. However, Melissa shared in January 2025 that the show was casting for some new faces. “I know they are casting right now,” she stated. “I know people that they’re talking to.”
Recently, Melissa was a guest on the Sherri show, and she opened up about the future of RHONJ. When host Sherri Shepherd asked Melissa if she would return if new ladies were cast, she replied, “Of course.”
Melissa stated, “We’ll see. I’m hoping that we’ll get some news about the Real Housewives of New Jersey sooner than later. We were told we would get news, like after the New Year, so I do think that they are working on it right now,” she added.
She continued, “I have some good [intel]. I feel like they’re working on it. I know they’re definitely talking to bring in some new girls.” Melissa added, “I’m assuming they’re going to keep some familiar faces as well.”
As far as Teresa and Melissa being able to film together again? Melissa doesn’t foresee that happening. “But we’ll see. We don’t know what’s to come or what … you know, I always I never say never in life because I always find out that’s exactly what happens,” the Envy boutique owner said. “So we’ll see what’s next and I’m excited about whatever comes.”
Of course, Teresa also weighed in recently about reconciling with Melissa or her brother, Joe Gorga. “No that’s a permanent break,” Teresa said. “All the way.”
Well, I guess we will find out sometime in the future whether RHONJ will get the full reboot or partial reboot treatment.
