In December 2024, Summer House star Paige DeSorbo dropped a bomb on Bravo fans. She announced on her podcast that she and her Southern Charm boyfriend, Craig Conover, had broken up. According to Paige, it was a mutual decision. However, that’s not the same tune that Craig is singing.
Craig Conover says his split with Paige DeSorbo wasn’t “mutual”
Recently, Craig was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, and shared more details about his break-up with Paige. He called the decision not “mutual” and noted that it “came out of nowhere.”
Craig stated, “I didn’t think it was real. We didn’t want different things, she just wanted other people.” He added, “We were planning our future together … like I was moving to New York.” Since Craig resided in South Carolina and Paige lived in New York, where to put down roots was an obstacle in their relationship.
Since the news of their break-up, Paige has been swatting down rumors that she was unfaithful. She clarified on her podcast, Giggly Squad, that she never emotionally or physically cheated on Craig. She also claimed that they broke up on Thanksgiving weekend, but that Craig did press and acted as if they were still happily together.
So, when Craig was asked if he agreed with Paige’s statement that she didn’t cheat, he tried to evade the question. “I don’t want to be involved … I’m the ex-boyfriend now. I’m moving on with my life … I never said you cheated, so I’m not a part of [the online chatter about their split],” Craig commented. “It’s none of my business what she does anymore.”
He continued, “I think we had an awesome relationship … I’m where I am a lot of it because of her. It is what it is.”
Craig previously addressed their split over a week after their romance ended. At the time he said that he “was very shocked” and was “still processing everything.”
