Relationship drama is fueling Season 10 of Southern Charm, and we’re not just talking about Craig Conover and Austen Kroll’s bromance problems. Venita Aspen kicked off the season with an old-school crush on JT Thomas, and the feelings seemed mutual. It was an unexpected pairing, but after a few episodes, their chemistry was evident. The flirting was on full display.
That is until a recent episode of Southern Charm when JT ruined everything by breaking some wild news. When Venita invited him over for dinner, he revealed he had a girlfriend the entire time. He definitely wasn’t acting like a man with a girlfriend on camera and Venita was clearly just as shocked. In this week’s episode, Venita broke down what it felt like to get that rejection from JT.

Venita called Leva Bonaparte during the latest episode to tell her all about her disastrous date night. Venita broke the news, and Leva shared her surprise. “But wait, he said you were cute while he had a girlfriend? Jerk! I’m so mad at this loser,” Leva said. Same, girl, same.
Later in the conversation, Leva made sure to check in on her friend’s feelings amidst such a whirlwind situation. Venita kept it cool and told Leva that she was just annoyed, but divulged a bit more in a confessional. “I definitely feel like a little piece of my heart’s kind of like, shattered,” Venita said. “It’s just like, oh you know, I thought that, okay, JT actually likes me. But like, okay, we’re not crossing lines. We’re going to be friends.” JT really dropped the ball with this one.
