Olivia Flowers no longer stars on Southern Charm. However, her former BFF, Taylor Ann Green, remains cozy on this cast.
During Season 9, Olivia and Taylor experienced a falling out. To recap, Austen Kroll used to date Olivia. But when these two parted ways, his mouth found its way to Taylor, who, for whatever reason, said yes to a little makeout session.
By the time their reunion rolled around, this friendship was over. However, Taylor recently revealed on Watch What Happens Live that Olivia texted her before filming for Season 10 began. So, DECIDER spoke with Olivia to find out why she did this, and her mature, kind answer makes us miss her all the more on Southern Charm.

Friendships are hard. But they should not have to be. Olivia agrees. However, production interfered, and when they reached out, Olivia concurred, noting that it was the right thing to do.
Within the same year, Taylor and Olivia lost their brothers and their beaus on Southern Charm. So when the producers contacted Olivia to let her know that Taylor was “not in the best place” before Season 10, Olivia put down her swords and shot off a text to Taylor.
Olivia has moved on from this mess, so she does not wish Taylor ill. Instead, Olivia wants Taylor “to do well regardless of what” their status is as friends. Maturity in Charleston? Here for it.
Sadly, these two women have not “talked since,” Olivia explained. However, the “door is a bit more open than it was before,” she teased, although things can never return to how they were before, she admitted.
“I don’t think it’ll ever be what it was because, at the end of the day, I value having authentic and genuine friendships that aren’t complicated,” Oliva declared. “And watching that season back, I learned a lot about that friendship, watching the episodes back. And friendships aren’t supposed to be complicated. They aren’t supposed to be tricky.”
