The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show provides the perfect platform for the RHOBH cast to walk back any comments they made during the season. It’s all about reacting to the episode that was filmed months ago. And Bozoma Saint John, for one, is not backing down from her assessment of Kyle Richards.
As the RHOBH newbie pointed out, feeling that Kyle is “cold” is simply her opinion. The marketing executive perhaps caused more offense to her costar by bringing her feelings up to Kyle’s sister Kathy Hilton. The topic came up during Dorit Kemsley’s Fourth of July Barbeque. The event also had Sutton Stracke leaving in a tizzy. The situation was hardly resolved then, but with Boz doubling down on the After Show, it looks like she will be explaining herself again at the reunion.
Boz was looking for an “easy enough explanation”
Bozoma revisited the fight with Kyle during the recent RHOBH After Show. She confirmed that she wouldn’t “take that back.”
“My opinion on how Kyle is behaving is my opinion, and no one can tell me that that’s wrong,” she said. “I think that Kyle was cold to me. I don’t take that back at all. She was.”
Boz continued, “Now, why was she cold? We could talk about that. If she says she was cold because she’s going through her own situation and she didn’t want to open up to me as a stranger in the group, fine. Easy enough explanation. But then don’t get pissed because I said that you were cold. That’s the truth.”
Kyle shared her own thoughts about having a “completely different experience.” She also expressed how much Boz “genuinely hurt” her.
“So, you had lunch with my sister [Kathy Hilton] and then you felt comfortable enough to say that to my sister? That’s weird, and it doesn’t even feel true,” she said.
Kyle continued, “It seemed a little strange to me, but maybe it does take me longer to open up. I guess I hadn’t opened up enough to her? She was expecting more? I’m not really sure.”
Bozoma is most frustrated with Kyle’s “denial”
Boz spoke further of the “infuriating” situation to producers. She felt that Kyle’s “denial” of it all was the most frustrating.
“Because if Kyle says, ‘You know what Boz, you’re right. I’m cold. I was cold toward you because of XYZ thing,’ then this is a non-issue. There are multiple examples of Kyle being upset at being shown the truth of her behavior without acknowledging the fact that those things are true,” the RHOBH favorite explained.
Boz touched on other issues that Kyle has been experiencing within the group. She suggested that the former child star responds to each situation similarly.
“I would feel much more respect for her in that situation if she acknowledged the fact that, oh, she’s mad at Dorit because of XYZ thing, or she doesn’t want to talk about the situation in her life because of XYZ thing, or [she’s] cold to me because of XYZ thing. But the denial of those things is what is infuriating,” Boz concluded.
