Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans hoped that Season 14’s new housewife, Bozoma Saint John, would be a good fit. Newbies for the last two seasons, Diana Jenkins and Annemarie Wiley, joined the one-and-done club. Neither Annemarie nor Diana gelled with the cast as a whole.
So, when Boz entered the scene, she was a confident breath of fresh air. Her corporate resume is beyond impressive. She worked at the highest levels as a marketing executive for companies such as Uber, Netflix, and PepsiCo. In fact, Boz had just retired from her corporate career when she started filming RHOBH.
It was an authentic and instant connection when Boz and Dorit Kemsley first met. While Boz seemed to get along with everyone in the cast, the one exception was Kyle Richards. Of course, Dorit and Kyle, who were once good friends, had been feuding much of Season 14 of RHOBH. Still, Boz accused Kyle of being “cold” and insisted it had nothing to do with Dorit.
Let’s take a look at why Dorit Kemsley and Bozoma Saint John are the friendship that RHOBH needed.
Both Bozoma Saint John and Dorit Kemsley are fun and fashionable on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
When Boz first met Dorit at Sutton Stracke’s Surrealism party, both ladies gushed over each other’s over-the-top fashion. Fashion is one of Dorit’s great loves, and Boz enjoys serving up amazing looks. It is one of the reasons that this duo clicked from the jump.
In a surprising twist, Dorit opened up to Boz immediately. She was vulnerable and detailed her separation from her husband, PK Kemsley. In turn, Boz shared that she was a widow with one child. It looked like a real connection was forming between these two fashionistas.
“I was surprised by how quickly we bonded only because it’s hard to make friends as an adult,” Boz told PEOPLE. “I think Dorit opening up to me immediately at that first event took me by surprise. But I was very open to it because I haven’t had the opportunity to really make friends as an adult.”
Dorit and Boz’s friendship is refreshing. For once, Dorit felt like she had someone who genuinely cared about her and her feelings. Of course, Kyle and Dorit were not in a good place for much of the season. And their epic fall-out was years in the making. So, Boz was a lifeline for Dorit as she weathered the stress of her marital woes.
Boz has Dorit’s back on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Part of the reason that Boz initially had an issue with Kyle was because Kyle was texting Dorit’s estranged husband, PK. And it was not just memes, okay? Immediately, Boz knew that there was something more going on than Kyle admitted. Even if they were just friends, Boz felt it was inappropriate. Plus, she was concerned about Dorit.
During Dorit’s 4th of July BBQ, Sutton, Garcelle Beauvais, and Kyle were congregating near the front door. After Dorit made a shady joke about whether there was alcohol in Sutton’s drink, Sutton called her “a b*tch.”
While Sutton was preparing to leave, Boz approached the group, asking them to come inside the house. “To congregate here, at the front,” Boz stated. “Like, Dorit is hosting a party.”
Welp, Garcelle called out Boz for acting as Dorit’s mouthpiece. Has Garcelle acted as Sutton’s spokesperson before? Yes. Was it acceptable? Hell, yes! Backing up a good friend is always acceptable. And Boz made it clear that she would defend Dorit.
However, Boz is also honest with Dorit, even if the truth may not be what Dorit wants to hear. While Dorit wondered if maybe there was still a future with her husband, Boz and Erika Jayne advised her to prepare for a divorce. Most of all, Boz doesn’t want Dorit to be caught unprepared and not get what she is entitled to, for herself and her two children.
Why is Dorit and Boz’s friendship threatening to their Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars?

I am all in for this friendship between Boz and Dorit. It feels good to see two women being besties, supporting each other, and not screaming at one another. It’s rare on a reality show to see true and joyful friendships.
However, not everyone loves this new dynamic between Dorit and Boz. During Dorit’s BBQ, Kyle and Boz were trying to chat. When Dorit jumped into the conversation, Kyle was finished. “It’s so annoying. [Boz] can literally say anything, and you’re so all over her ass,” Kyle told Dorit. “It’s actually gross. Stop!”
And in the same episode, Erika noted in her confessional that no one should be concerned because Dorit has a new friend in Boz. Still, Boz also clocked that Sutton wasn’t happy about her new bond with Dorit. According to Boz, she felt that Sutton was upset with Dorit because Sutton wanted the role of Queen Bee. Well, who is going to tell Kyle that Dorit took her OG status?
In the end, seeing Boz enter as a newbie and find her bestie in Dorit was perfect. This fashion-loving duo shared honest, funny, and light-hearted moments so far this season. Dorit and Boz’s friendship is what the RHOBH viewers need. And I believe that this is a friendship that will exist outside of RHOBH. And that is a rare, and spectacular, gem.
