Watching Shep Rose’s one-sided love affair with Sienna Evans has been painful. The Southern Charm star has love-bombed the beauty queen and made the relationship more than it is inside his head. This marks the first time Shep has really shown his vulnerable side. And while the sentiment is nice, he’s clearly chosen the wrong person to fall in love with.

In the modern day of technology, fans were not surprised to learn that Shep met Sienne while he was a member of Raya. The private dating site is a membership-only app known for its exclusivity. It’s primarily used by the rich and famous. Shep first spoke about meeting Sienna on the site as if it were the perfect meet cute. He shared, “Sienna and I met on this dating site. I was enthralled with her. I just think she’s so sexy.” Never mind that the 44-year-old was almost 20 years older than Sienna. On January 7, 2024, followers noted that Sienna posted a cryptic social media photo with the caption, “Love grows.”
In the comments, Shep, who is famous for his lyrical quotes, wrote, “I’ve never heard that song before in my life. But it has my last name in it. So I’ll support.” The lyrics came from Edison Lighthouse’s Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes), a 1970s hit, and the photo showed off a bunch of wild roses. Sienna replied to his comment, saying, “It’s a good one! Add it to your playlist teehee.”
Spring sprung for Shep Rose
In March 2024, the duo started to heat up with their flirting after exchanging songs like it was the 2000s, and mixed CDs were still in. During the newest season, Shep revealed that he told Sienna he “loved her” while they were on holiday to Palm Beach, Florida, back in March 2024. He told fans, “I meant it. I felt it.” Shortly after, Sienna made the trek to Charleston to meet the Southern Charm crew. The meet and greet was filmed for Season 10 when Sienna dressed up as a cowgirl for the Dolly Parton-themed dog party.
Even though fans are currently watching Shep crash and burn in love on his Bahamas trip, the trip took place in May 2024. Shep made the grand gesture of bringing all his friends down to the island to hang out with his love interest. But it became clear that Sienna had little interest and time to spend with her boyfriend. Viewers learned that the pair hadn’t seen one another for two months.
Shep Rose’s relations grew chilly
While at Bravo’s Fan Fest, Shep was questioned about the status of his relationship. He joked with fans, noting, “I don’t know if I want to reveal because of Season 10, but I was right there, and I got pretty cut down, let’s just say. And it’s all out there for everyone to see, so.” Shep all but confirmed that he was back on the market. He even told followers he had upped his age preferences on Raya to “28 and above.” However, I doubt that it will make a difference for the middle-aged Bravoleb. By December 2024, Shep’s dream relationship seemed to be at an end.
In a recent episode, he sent Sienna a cringe text as he told his friends, “I was kinda spiraling. My fear, my paranoia, is there’s some f*cking dude.” He spoke out on Two T’s in a Pod podcast, sharing, “She was like, ‘Hey, I’ve been really busy. Will you just get my flights?’ … I said yeah, OK, and I bottled it up.” Shep continued, “And then after the weekend, I said something to her… I said, ‘I really need to get this off my chest … I just don’t appreciate the way that was handled.” And “I made a lot of plans, and I took care of everything.”
Shep stated that Sienna told him where she comes from, the men take care of everything. But the answer didn’t sit well with the Charleston resident. The pair called it quits soon after.
