Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 is all about divorce. Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley are simultaneously going through separations from their husbands with no end in sight. Despite their shared struggles, Kyle and Dorit have spent most of the season fighting rather than commiserating with one another.
Kyle’s relationship status has been in a gray area since the last season of RHOBH. She’s still living in her family home and talking regularly to Mauricio Umansky like he’s her husband. Meanwhile, he’s moved out and is living his best life, whatever that entails. However, it seems like Kyle might be finally getting over the limbo phase in a preview clip for the next episode.
Kyle Richards needs answers
Bravo released a teaser clip for the upcoming RHOBH episode featuring Kyle talking to her therapist and life coach about her changing family dynamics. Kyle reflected on spending the first summer without her youngest daughter Portia, as she went on vacation with her dad. “He goes and lives his life. He’s having fun. You know? And I’ve kind of been just working,” Kyle said. “And I know that that’s what being separated is supposed to be, taking this time to figure out everything.”
Then, Kyle went on to explain what it feels like to be constantly asked if she’s getting divorced. “I think I’m anxious, and I’m getting impatient,” Kyle said. “I’m impatient because I want to know what my life’s gonna be.” She thinks it’s easier for Mauricio, who she described as a “happy little camper.”
Kyle’s therapist asked why Kyle can’t be out living her best life like Mauricio is amidst the separation. “There’s a little part of me that thinks, okay, say that I move on with somebody new. And then what if he’s like, ‘Okay, I went and sowed my wild oats,’ or whatever that is, that expression is, and —” Kyle said. Her therapist interrupted saying, “And ‘I want to come back?'” Kyle quickly agreed, leaving fans wondering more. We’ll have to tune into Tuesday’s episode to find out if this conversation led to any big decisions.
