Lizzo recently gave fans a closer look at the glimpses of her new song by posting a cinematic teaser video on Instagram. In the caption of the post, the artist disclosed the title of the track, “Love in Real Life” along with its debut date, which is “2/28” referring to Friday, February 28.
The teaser begins dramatically with a bird’s-eye view. Fans can see Lizzo lying on a vintage-looking white car’s hood. Meanwhile, other people keep on walking on the street, around the car. It is parked in the middle of a turn on a busy street. As the video starts to focus on the artist, her voice can be heard in the background in an echoing tone.
Lizzo’s voice says, “Everything was so much simpler.” It continues, “And that’s exactly what I need. No views, no likes.” The artist’s voice further says, “Real love in real life.” After that, an upbeat tune begins to play in the background. The video shows the song’s title written on it in a bright red color. The teaser video concludes with the release date showing on the screen.
