There’s another family member from the Chrisley Knows Best crew running around saying that they didn’t do the crime that landed them behind bars. This time, it’s Chase Chrisley.
In case you missed it, Chase kicked off 2025 by allegedly slapping the manager of a Twin Peaks sports bar. At the time, the manager called the cops and said that Chase was acting “very disrespectful and belligerent” after getting too wasted in the early evening hours.
The manager said that Chase slapped him twice, and a few days later, the former reality star was charged with simple battery. However, he and his publicist are working overtime to clear his name. In a new interview, he claimed that the whole thing was “blown out of proportion.”
Chase Chrisley maintains his innocence
Chase sat down with Daily Mail to talk about what happened that night at Twin Peaks. He didn’t deny that he was there but claimed things never got physical with the bar manager. It’s almost as if alcohol impacts a person’s memory!
“I didn’t slap that dude in Atlanta. That didn’t happen,” he argued. “If I was gonna put my hands on somebody I would get my money’s worth. I wouldn’t just get a slap.”
Although Chase denied the slapping allegations, he did admit to arguing with the staff while trying to close his tab. In the audio from the 911 call, you could hear the manager trying to stay calm while being accosted.
“I might have been talking sh*t and so was the other guy, but I didn’t put my hands on him. If I wasn’t who I was that wouldn’t have been a situation,” Chase explained.
Continuing with the victim complex, Chase shifted the conversation toward his parents, who are currently sitting in prison for a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme. In Chase’s opinion, that was also blown out of proportion. Is anyone else noticing a pattern here?
“Obviously, our system is very corrupt and very broken,” Chase said. “I know there wasn’t any truth to it because my dad didn’t have to steal any money. But his slimy business partner apparently did.”
