Season 8 of Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix. It’s hard to believe five years have passed since Nick and Vanessa Lachey first explained “the experience” to us. The release of the new season made me think about the OG couples that started it all. If you’re wondering what happened to the Season 1 cast, look no further. I’ve done my research.

Here is what the cast of Love Is Blind Season 1 is up to today.

Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed – Still together

Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed found love in Season 1 of Love Is Blind. The two hit it off in the pods, bonding over shared values and a similar vision for the future. They became the first couple to get engaged on the show and were one of two couples to tie the knot in the Season 1 finale. The pair is still going strong five years later and are currently in the process of expanding their family. Lauren opened up about her fertility journey on an October 2024 episode of her and Cameron’s podcast “The Love Seat.” The LIB alum told fans that going through IVF made her feel “more connected” to her husband.

“We support each other, we’re more in tune now,” she said. “I feel like in marriage, or any type of relationship, when you go through something that’s big and heavy or weighs on your heart, it creates a bond.”

Amber Pike and Matt Barnett – Still together

Amber Pike and Matt Barnett were the second couple to say “I do” in the Season 1 finale. We’re happy to announce the couple is still together and are expecting their first child in 2025. The pair announced the news in October 2024 during an appearance on their co-stars Lauren and Cameron’s podcast.

“I sent myself back to school because I felt like we were in a place where I could do that, like, I had the support and I was mentally there …Then, over summer break, he just went and knocked me up,” Amber shared.

The LIB Veterans celebrated six years together in November 2024. Barnett marked the occasion with a sweet Instagram Post dedicated to his wife.

“Happy Anniversary to the love of my life and the sexy soon to be mother of my child,” he wrote in the post’s caption. “Here’s to 6 more years of trying to figure out what to eat for dinner! Wouldn’t want to do this thing with anyone else.”

Giannina Gibelli – left the show single

Giannina Gibelli didn’t find marital bliss with her pod match Damian Powers, but she did find her soulmate on a reality show. She met Bachelorette alum Blake Horstmann on set of the Paramount Plus show All-Star Shore in December 2021. The two started dating on the show and have been together ever since. They welcomed their first baby, a son named Heath, in April 2024.

Damian Powers – left the show single

After LIB, Damian was briefly linked to social media star Francesca Farago. The two were spotted out together on numerous occasions but never officially dated. Damian returned to reality TV in 2023 when he joined the cast of Perfect Match. He pursued a relationship with Francesca but left the show single. Since then, he’s kept a relatively low profile but still shares his life via social media.

Jessica Batten – left the show single

Jessica Batten didn’t find her match on LIB, but she didn’t give up on love. She met her husband, surgeon Benjamin McGrath, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple tied the knot in September 2022 and welcomed their son Dax in June 2023.

The Netflix star opened up about finding love after reality TV in a December 2021 interview with Us Weekly, calling her experience on the show “traumatic.”

“After the show wrapped, I didn’t date for quite a while because it was [a] very traumatic experience,” she said.

Jessica was labeled a “villain” in her season. In her interview with Us Weekly, she shared that she wasn’t even thinking about dating while the show was airing because of the negativity she was dealing with from viewers. But thankfully, her husband tuned out the noise and they found each other.

Mark Cuevas – left the show single

Fans’ hearts broke for Mark Cuevas when Jessica said no to him at the altar in Season 1. After the show wrapped, Mark was briefly linked to his Love Is Blind co-star Lauren Chamblin (LC). A source close to the couple told Entertainment Tonight that the romance soured because of miscommunication.

“It was never serious, but LC saw photos of him with another woman while on a trip and felt betrayed,” an inside source told the outlet. Mark cleared up the cheating rumors in a statement to ET, “I enjoyed spending time with LC for a few weeks, but at no point were we in an exclusive relationship.”

After his fling with LC, Mark began dating his now-wife Aubrey Rainey. The two tied the knot in September 2022 and have since welcomed two baby boys to their family.

Kelly Chase – left the show single

Kelly Chase said “I do not” to Kenny Barnes at the altar in Season 1. Since then, the Health Coach has kept busy building a career on social media and launching a podcast, titled, “Chase Life with Kelly.” She also has a popular TikTok series where she tells untold stories from Season 1 of Love Is Blind.

The Netflix star opened up about her LIB journey in a June 2024 interview with People, telling the outlet the experience affected her mental health.

“You’re in such a confined container for eight weeks and you get to know someone so quickly, so you get to know so many people on such an intense deep level in such a short period of time, and then it’s just gone,” she shared. “Everything’s gone, and you’re like, ‘What do I do with my life right now?’”

She revealed that she hired a mindset coach to help her cope with what she went through on the show.

“I recognized I was depressed,” she said. “She brought to light a lot of the things I was struggling with. Although I totally sought her out for something totally different, but she was like, ‘We need to address this.’”

Kenny Barnes – left the show single

Kenny left LIB a single man but he didn’t stay on the market for long. He and his girlfriend Alexandra Barnes tied the knot in the spring of 2022. The couple announced in February via People that they are expecting their first baby.

“The moment we found out Alex was pregnant, it was a full rush of emotions from disbelief to overwhelming joy,” Kenny told the publication. “Funny enough, Alex was about to go to a concert with our neighbor, and I was in the shower.”

“She decided to take a test five minutes before leaving the house before she went out to have a fun time,” he revealed. “And we laugh about it to this day because as she is reading off the instructions and test results to me, the only thing I could say was ‘WOAH!’

Diamond Jack – left the show single

Diamond Jack accepted Carlton Morton’s proposal but the two never made it down the aisle. The couple broke up in Mexico after an explosive argument surrounding Carlton’s sexuality. Diamond was upset that Carlton did not tell her he was bisexual in the pods. She needed a moment to process, which upset her fiancé. The two worked through their issues at the reunion but decided not to pursue a relationship. Diamond continues to share her life with fans on social media. She returned to reality TV in 2023 to appear on the Netflix show Perfect Match.

Carlton Morton – left the show single

Carlton Morton received backlash for how he spoke to Diamond on Season 1 of LIB. He managed to win over fans at the reunion when he sincerely apologized to his former fiance. The Atlanta native has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since 2020, enjoying a more quiet life.
