While we still have to wait a bit to see the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 reunion, Bravo gave us a tease by releasing the seating chart. The RHOBH Season 14 reunion was filmed at the end of February. It will cap off one of the best RHOBH seasons in years. As we wait for more details, here’s what we expect so far based on the reunion seating chart.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 reunion seating chart revealed
On one couch sits Kyle Richards, who got first chair for the fourteenth time in a row. Unlike last year, when they sat opposite each other, Sutton Stracke is next to Kyle. Then Garcelle Beauvais is in third chair. On the other side, Dorit Kemsley has first chair, with Bozoma Saint John in second and Erika Jayne in third.
Bozoma getting the second chair in her first season proves she’s a standout addition to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Usually, newbies get third chair at their first reunion. Much like her career in corporate America, Boz’s RHOBH performance showed she is the boss. Meanwhile, Erika is officially out of the hot seat in third chair. But while she’s not the center of drama this season, RHOBH Season 14 is her best in years.
Because they are “friend of” cast members, Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton are both seated at the end. They will likely only be on stage for one part of the reunion. Which, based on the usual pattern, we expect to be three parts. Last year, Kathy showed up as a surprise reunion guest, which led to her return after taking Season 13 off. Meanwhile, I wonder if Jennifer’s appearance will include a discussion about those rumors the cast wants her off the show.
Kyle Richards is still the star of the show on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Kyle earned first chair at every single RHOBH reunion so far, and Season 14 is no exception. Love her or hate her, that’s impressive. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a Real Housewives record.
For the past two seasons, Kyle’s been criticized for not showing enough of her real life. Earlier this season, production included a montage of Kyle demanding transparency and honesty from everyone else, implying that she’s been hypocritical. When the others started to interrogate her about texting PK Kemsley, Kyle stormed out and took a break from filming.
But Kyle is still the center of lots of arguments and drama this season. While she remains cagey about the details, her separation from Mauricio Umansky is a major part of the content. Of course, her caginess led her co-stars to do a lot of speculation. I’m sure that will be discussed at the reunion. As well as the speculation that paparazzi pictures of Mauricio kissing another woman were staged. But will Kyle be resistant to discussing it or answering any questions?
Dorit Kemsley’s standout RHOBH season will continue at the reunion
Meanwhile, Dorit Kemsley got first chair for the first time. This is a major change from last season when she got third chair. It really speaks to how much Dorit has come into her own and given this season her all. Maybe rumors she would be let go after Season 13 lit a fire under her? On the show, she said that her divorce and the end of her friendship with Kyle made her fed up. Regardless, we’ve seen a whole new Dorit this season, and it’s paying off. She’s also seated next to her new BFF Boz, and I’m sure we’ll get a segment on their fast friendship.
That’s not to say the reunion will be congratulatory for her. There’s a lot of drama we expect Dorit to discuss. Her feud with Sutton includes constant back-and-forth jabs on and off the show. Surely, they’ll fight over things like the new “Poorit” nickname. Viewers also expect some discussions about the Kemsley’s finances and general state of their marriage. So far, Dorit has been more chatty about her estranged husband than Kyle is. And speaking of Dorit and Kyle …
Expect Kyle and Dorit’s feud to take center stage at the RHOBH reunion
It’s taken a backseat in recent weeks, but Kyle and Dorit’s feud is unquestionably one of the biggest storylines of Season 14. Ben Stiller even talked about it on the Oscars red carpet! The friendship really started to fall apart after Dorit showed production a text from Kyle at last year’s reunion. Now, things are coming full circle.
Both Dorit and Kyle getting first chair implies that we can probably expect a major fight between them during the reunion. Is there any hope for these two to become friends again? Or is there no getting past the issues like PK texting Kyle? We’ll have to wait and see if the reunion includes a reconciliation, or if they leave the set more fractured than ever.
Expect a segment on Sutton Stracke’s dramatic visit home
There’s been lots of fights and feuds between the Housewives, as always. But another much-discussed moment was Sutton’s visit to see her mom Reba. The family scenes earned comparisons to Tennessee Williams plays. Kyle and Garcelle accompanied her, so it makes sense that they are flanking Sutton on the reunion couch.
While we expect some solidarity from the three in this moment, that’s not to say there won’t be drama. Sutton and Kyle aren’t feuding as much as last year, but they’re not besties either. I’m sure Kyle will call out Sutton for speculating about her marriage and bringing up the infidelity rumors. And while lots of viewers found Garcelle’s “if you want to be a lesbian, be a lesbian” comment hilarious, it clearly bothered Kyle.
