Lala Kent and Randall Emmett have finalized their three-year custody battle. Lala shares daughter, Ocean, with her ex, and the two were embroiled in a custody battle that left the Vanderpump Rules alum emotionally exhausted.
So now, Lala can focus on moving forward with her two children. She gave birth to Sosa on September 3, 2024, via intrauterine insemination. The Give Them Lala podcast host often shares videos of her sweet little “pod” on social media. Now, there’s all the more reason to celebrate life.
Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s custody battle over daughter Ocean lasted three years
Lala shared the relieving update during Amazon Live stream Tuesday.
“You guys, the custody battle is over. It’s officially ended,” the Give Them Lala podcast host said. “We’re done with it, so there’s my tea for the day.”
Lala continued, “After over three years, we have signed an agreement that is best for our daughter, Ocean. So I’m very, very happy about that.”
The three-year legal battle with Randall took a toll on the VPR alum and “has weighed on [her] heart and soul.”
“I’m sure it’s been the same for my ex, and I’m just so happy that we were able to get to a good place for the well-being of our kid,” Lala acknowledged.
Lala is not opening up about the details of their arrangement. Simply to say that the long and trying process is over. And now, she can just focus on raising her two girls.
Emmett and Lala made their romance official after his divorce from Ambyr Childers in December 2017. He proposed in September 2018 and the couple remained betrothed until their split in October 2021. The parents welcomed Ocean, Lala’s first child, in March 2021.
