Brandi Glanville is experiencing another setback when it comes to her health. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has been transparent with fans about battling a mysterious illness that has left her with swelling and scars on her face. She suspects a parasite but is desperately searching for an official diagnosis.
Sadly, the downturn comes just after the former Bravolebrity enlisted the help of Botched star, Dr. Terry Dubrow. Brandi was feeling hopeful to get some answers as she awaited the results from the biopsies he performed. But it seems that certain realities of her current situation are causing Brandi emotional distress.
Brandi Glanville gets real about her face and life on social media
Brandi was vulnerable with fans last week when she shared that her face “is worse than ever.” Her close friend is in the hospital as well. And she is overwhelmed with medical expenses that have topped over $70,000 since her illness began.
“I’ve been faking it. I’m f-cking miserable. My best friend’s been in the ICU for weeks & isn’t getting better. My face is worse than ever. It’s literally melted away. When drs at cedars put me on IV antibiotics & fungal medication I was getting better I looked normal but I couldn’t afford to stay on them. I was forced to see drs outside my insurance because the drs at Kaiser had no clue. I need my life to change. That is my real life health update,” Brandi wrote in a post to X on March 6.
Just before this, Brandi updated fans on some results from the tissue samples Terry took from her face. She revealed that the tests came back negative for cancer. However, fungal and bacterial tests needed more time to grow cultures.
