Well, Taylor Ann Green is taking her shark tooth necklace and leaving Southern Charm. After a bumpy season defending her new boyfriend, Gaston Rojas, from whispers about his questionable reputation, Taylor announced that she is exiting the series. The fact that Gaston’s ex-girlfriend, Salley Carson, joined the cast and had nothing favorable to say didn’t help Taylor Ann’s case about her boyfriend.
Taylor Ann Green is quitting Southern Charm
Last season, Taylor Ann was on the outs after her friend, Olivia Flowers, discovered that Taylor and her ex-boyfriend, Austen Kroll, were getting friendly. And during Season 10, Taylor tirelessly defended Gaston when they weren’t playing pickleball. So, after five seasons, Taylor shared via Instagram that she is leaving the show.
“A bittersweet announcement, but after a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from Southern Charm next year,” Taylor wrote. “These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the craziest but exciting times of my life. I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, bravo family, and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today.”
She continued, “A wild rollercoaster but an incredible one, to say the least. I am so excited to use this time to focus on my new company, @resetathletic, and all the exciting things that my business partner and I have been working on to continue to bring our dream into reality.” Taylor Ann added, “Thank you again to everyone who has loved and supported me throughout this journey and another grand cheers to the greatest ones out there @nbc @bravotv @haymaker.east & @bravoandy for an exceptional reality TV ride. All my love,” she wrote with a white heart emoji.
Well, best of luck to Taylor Ann in her upcoming endeavors, and may there be no more shark tooth necklaces in her future.
