Despite rumors suggesting some other big names – such as Courteney Cox – were taking part, many of those mentioned previously are nowhere to be seen on the new list. So, we’ve got Olympic legends, big names from the world of acting, and a heck of a lot of comedians making up the Celebrity Traitors UK cast. At least according to The Sun. Many of these names likely won’t be familiar to US fans, but they should make for entertainment nonetheless. It appears as though the production company has gone for celebrities from worlds other than reality TV, too. That’s a major change to the American series, which brings in a whole bunch of reality TV stars to compete.
Though Courteney, and comedian Bob Mortimer, were heavily rumored, they don’t appear here. However, we do know based on past seasons of The Traitors that there can be twists around every corner. Could one or both of those celebrities join the game at a later stage? Or perhaps even some other famous faces? That’ll be discovered on a later date.
