‘There’s no Taylor Swift’ on Meghan Markle’s podcast, and that’s a problem, ‘source’ notes
Meghan Markle’s podcast “Confessions of a Female Founder,” produced by Archewell Audio Productions, premiered on April 8. Despite the promising concept of women’s journey in business, the show is reportedly failing to generate buzz. As per Radar Online, the Duchess of Sussex is trying her best to get A-list female celebrities on her show. However, things are not falling into place, as of now.
The website’s insider revealed the 43-year-old has “dialed all the big names but no one is picking up.” Further, the absence of high-profile guests in the lineup is raising concerns. Radar Online’s insider also mentioned the importance of guests like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Hailey Bieber missing on Meghan Markle’s podcast.
Although the podcast is supposed to promote women empowerment, the absence of popular faces reflects Markle’s pulling power. “She’s not happy about her lack of appeal”, the insider added.
Another source close to the website mentioned that Markle has even been facing issues getting mid-tier personalities on her show. Additionally, a Hollywood PR expert stated that she has been trying to contact influencers and startup CEOs eager to secure a place at any podcast. It continued, “Not exactly the red-carpet royalty Meghan was banking on.”
While the source did specify the need to stay in touch with major personalities, they stated that Markle has been “yielding few callbacks.” The PR expert added, “her ambitious vision may be suffering due to more prominent figures in the entertainment world.”
The next episode of “Confessions of a Female Founder” will come out on April 29. Some of the recent guests on the show include Whitney Wolfe Herd, Reshma Saujani, and Kadi Lee.
