Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ new restaurant, 1587 Prime, which is set to open in Kansas this summer, is currently hiring an Executive Chef, a Bar Manager, and an Operation Manager. The pay range mentioned is $90,000 – $110,000, $70,000 – $80,000, and $55,000 – $90,000, respectively, per year.
According to the job description, the Executive Chef would “maintain constant quality control of all food prepared.” They would also “ensure it meets Corporate and Restaurant standards and is served on time,” along with more duties. The role’s requirements include seven years of experience, one to two years in a management position, a culinary degree preferred, and additional skills.
On the other hand, the qualifications for the Bar Manager role state three to five years in a management or supervisory role. They would also need a strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine. Along with that, other qualifications include previous work in the hospitality industry, flexible availability, and more.
Lastly, the Operation Manager would support recruiting and training functions. Along with that, day-to-day venue management, maintaining brand standards, inventory, labor management, and more. The role requires a college degree in business, hospitality, or a related field.
Besides that, three to five years of experience in a management position. The Operation Manager would also need a thorough knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques. As well as the health department and liquor-related laws and regulations.
