Ahoy, land dwellers! It is time for our Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 13 recap, cheekily titled “Lipstick Service.” Last week, tensions rose between the galley and the interior department, finding the superyacht Katina not well, bitch. Similarly, the relations between Lara and Marina kept spiraling in the interior department, which Captain Jason is still trying to help sort. This problem, however, is proving easier said than done. Cue all the tears and desires to quit from various cast members on these teams. Here is a breakdown of everything that transpired on Below Deck Down Under Season 3, Episode 13.
What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 13?
Tzarina is trying her best to shut down the drama on her end with Alesia, who thankfully accepts her apology. However, their truce is standing on shaky grounds as potentially shady intentions continue entering their narratives. But nothing can topple the drama that Mother Nature brings, as proven when she began ripping through a charter, threatening to ruin it all on BDDU.
Tzarina apologizes to Alesia as Captain Jason encourages Lara to place Marina on service (again)

Returning to the club on a crew night out, we see Lara in the bathroom, complaining to Bri about her plating drama with Tzarina. Meanwhile, Alesia and Nate are bonding. The same rings true for Marina and Nicolas, giving us two possible new boatmances on the horizon this season on BDDU.
During their taxi ride back to the yacht, the van holding Adair, Marina, Nate, Tzarina, and Nicolas enjoys drunken pizzas and silly banters. The other van, however, is still talking about the plates of it all. I stand with Harry, who exclaims in his confessional, “They’re just plates.”
Back on board, Tzarina and Lara live without speaking in their shared cabin as Harry and Bri make out several levels above. Somewhere in between, the rest of the crew watches their makeout session on the monitors, cheering for their pals.
In the morning, Alesia announces that she has lost her lipstick, labeling this shade as half her personality. As the teams prepare for their next charter, Tzarina pulls Alesia in for a chat. She lets Alesia know that she is aware of her conversations with Lara. Tzarina apologizes to Alesia, who forgives her head chef.
Captain Jason holds a preference sheet meeting. Their next guests want a circus-themed evening, which Lara appreciates. However, the weather is starting to turn, so the crew needs to be on guard. Before their meeting ends, Captain Jason implores Lara to place Marina on service again.
However, Lara remains unsold, resulting in clipped responses as Tzarina speaks excitedly about their upcoming circus plans.
Tzarina asks Lara to steer clear of negative conversations with Alesia

In their bunk, Lara attempts to speak with Tzarina. Tzarina tells Lara that she needs respect, meaning that whenever someone comes to her carrying any negative thoughts about Lara, Tzarina encourages them to speak with Lara. In contrast, Lara does not shut negative Tzarina-related conversations down. Lara disagrees with her request, explaining that whenever someone needs to vent, she wants to be there as a support.
Sighing, Tzarina reminds Lara that she also deserves support. “I’m just listening,” Lara interjects, causing Tzarina to shut their chat down with one last request that Lara leave her and Alesia be.
Lara finds Marina. Marina will be on service for their next charter, Lara reveals. In her confessional, Lara jokes that she is only doing this because Captain Jason wants growth to happen on her team.
Likewise, Nate informs Captain Jason that growth is happening on his team, as he has just made Harry his lead deckhand. Captain Jason loves this for Harry. Downstairs, Lara calls for circus-themed provisions, adding a replacement tube of lipstick for Alesia in her order.
Harry trains Nicolas on the anchor while Bri annoys Lara in the interior

The new group of guests comes aboard. They are a total vibe. The crew immediately smiles, knowing this charter will be fun. Marina reports to Tzarina, letting the chef know that their guests are happy, but they only touched the passion fruit on her fruit arrangement.
Tzarina loves this level of communication. Placing Marina on service detail is a win. On deck, Harry coaches Nic on the anchor drop. As Harry coaches, his communication on the radio with Captain Jason wavers, annoying the captain.
Harry apologizes, knowing he needs to redeem himself with Captain Jason, who calls Harry to the wheelhouse. Thankfully, all is well here.
Lara sends Bri ashore for a beach day with the guests while Marina and Nic continue bonding onboard. As the skies darken, the guests return to the yacht for dinner. Bri, however, does not return with them, leaving Lara annoyed. Once Bri boards, Lara reminds her steward to return to the yacht first thing with the guests.
Unlike Lara, Alesia is beaming. Tzarina wants her to help present their seafood extravaganza to their guests later. Alesia feels honored. She and Tzarina have never been closer than tonight.
Nate is crushing hard on Alesia, but Lara’s lipstick gift creates further frustrations in Tzarina

Nate likes Alesia. They flirt in the galley as their guests emerge for dinner, loving their seafood extravaganza. Provisions arrive as Lara heads to the wheelhouse.
Captain Jason is thrilled that the guests are happy, telling Lara that Alesia also seems smiley. Lara informs him that she purchased Alesia a new tube of lipstick, so her happiness is about to grow. Heading to the galley, Lara tells Alesia about her gift. Alesia loves how thoughtful Lara is, but Tzarina feels differently, saying, “She just can’t stay out of it,” and “Jesus, that b*tch.”
However, Tzarina does not make Alesia uncomfortable with her inner thoughts. Instead, she professionally smiles, telling Alesia that she looks “phenomenal” in her new shade of lipstick.
Several beats later, Lara asks Alesia about her day. Alesia notes that it was fantastic. Lara suggests her feelings are because she purchased Alesia a new tube of lipstick. Grateful, Alesia notes that this was a nice gesture and that she appreciates feeling supported.
Lara heads to her cabin, where Tzarina greets her with silence. When they all awake, the swells are high, causing the yacht to rock back and forth. Nevertheless, Marina remains on service, nailing her role. The camera pans to show Bri in a cabin, growing annoyed with Lara and her radio calls that add additional tasks to her morning routine.
The circus-themed dinner arrives, but before the guests sit to eat, trash weather rolls in, leaving the crew scrambling as the credits roll on Episode 13.
Below Deck Down Under continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
