Nick Hall, known by his stage name Anita Wigl’it, is a prominent British-New Zealand drag performer celebrated for his vibrant personality and significant contributions to the drag community. Born on July 10, 1989, in Yeovil, England, Hall moved to Auckland, New Zealand, at the age of ten. His passion for music led him to pursue a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in music performance from the University of Auckland, graduating with first-class honors. Furthering his education, he obtained a Master of Music degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. After completing his studies, Hall returned to New Zealand and joined the Royal New Zealand Navy Band as a trumpet player. Hall’s career in drag began to flourish when he adopted the stage name Anita Wigl’it. Alongside his drag partner Kita Mean, he became a well-known figure in the New Zealand drag scene.
