Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha, a well-known drag performer, was born on December 1, 1997, in Badajoz, Spain, and grew up in Jerez de los Caballeros. She faced discrimination due to her sexual orientation and gender expression from a young age. Inspired by the TV show “Hannah Montana,” Arantxa adopted her drag name and style. At 17, Arantxa moved to Madrid to study Audiovisual Communication and discovered drag culture after attending a show by Supremme de Luxe. She competed in the first season of “Drag Race España” in 2021 and joined the national tour “Gran Hotel de las Reinas” afterward. She also became an ambassador for Madrid Pride’s high-heel race and a Jerez de los Caballeros Pride host. In January 2024, Arantxa was announced as a contestant on “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World.” She also co-hosts the podcast “Mientras Te Hacías El Eyeliner” with fellow drag queen Hugáceo Crujiente.
