Carolyna Hutchings, formerly known as Caroline Ekanem and Caroline Danjuma, is a dynamic Scottish/Nigerian actress, film producer, interior designer, businesswoman, and philanthropist. Born in Scotland to a Scottish father and a Nigerian mother, Carolyna is the eldest of three children. She grew up in Nigeria and has an impressive academic background with a BSc in Geographical and Regional Planning from the University of Calabar, an MSc in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School in the UK. Carolyna’s foray into the Nigerian film industry began in 2004, thanks to Chico Ejiro and Rita Dominic, who cast her in the film Deadly Care. This role paved the way for her to appear in numerous successful movies, including Deadly Kiss (2004), Missing Angel (2004), The Captor (2006), and Stalker (2016), alongside Jim Iyke and Nse Ikpe Etim. Carolyna’s work in the entertainment industry earned her recognition for her advocacy programs centered on building capacities for Nigerian youths.
